Will the strong (and unmet - as only 100 will be made*) demand for this car convince McLaren/Ferrari/Lamborghini (and Porsche in their future supercars) to reconsider offering manual transmissions in their cars?

Probably wishful thinking, but a boy can dream... I’m very much looking forward to the new Vantage with a manual (seven-speed with a dog-leg first) paired to an AMG motor. Hopefully they sell a ton of them.

*They made almost 2000 LaFerraris/P1s/918s, and 500 Chirons will be built.

I think there’s enough demand and internet buzz to bring back a manual on some special models, but honestly, I don’t care that much.  Supercars and hypercars have just become so insanely expensive that I’ll probably never see one, let alone ride in one.  It’s hard to daydream about owning something so far out of reach.

Yes, but making them available at these upper echelons likely will increase interest in the enthusiast public and perhaps entice more young people to learn how to drive a manual, making demand go up overall, to help   keep the option available (or even bring it back) in cars we can afford (or can afford to dream about).
